We represented an oil and gas service company wherein the well operator alleged that our client improperly treated the well with corrosion and scale inhibitors. The well operator claimed that the alleged improper treatment caused damage to a prior well casing repair which resulted in the necessity to make additional repairs to the well casing and lost production. Plaintiff sought damages in excess of $1,000,000. After exposing flaws in the well operator’s expert witness’ opinions during his deposition, we filed a motion for summary judgment in the 132nd Judicial District Court of Scurry County, Texas. The motion for summary judgment was granted by the Court and all claims asserted against our client were dismissed.
